Disability In Employment

These statistics are derived from the UK  Government in 2021. Both show percentages of the general public specifying the amount of disabled people in PART/FULL time work and the amount of disabled people working within the public sector VS the Private sector.  The findings shows both evidently the lack of response from the private sector implementing disabled roles. And Disabled people being in more part time roles rather than full time . 

 

Race And BAME Community In Employment

The data below shows the numbers of black, Asian and minority ethnic community members (BAME % out of 100) within different sectors and industries as a whole within the United Kingdom.

The data shows that: 76% of people aged 16 to 64 in England, Scotland and Wales were employed in 2019 83% of people from the White Other ethnic group were employed – the highest rate out of all ethnic groups 56% of people from the combined Pakistani and Bangladeshi ethnic group were employed – the lowest rate out of all ethnic groups

A total of 14% of the BAME community work in IT/ software, and the job category with the smallest percentage of BAME community members is film and TV, at only 4%.
